Jefferson Development Corporation

6:50 a.m. - 7:45 a.m.

Attending: Dempsey, Fischer, Guttenberg, Hamann, Keiser, Lewis, Morgan, Olsen, Oppermann and Thomsen.

1. Call to Order 6:50 a.m. by President Morgan.

2. Approval of Minutes

Motion (Thomsen/Guttenberg) to approve minutes of March 17, 1998. MOTION CARRIED

The following corrections were made to the minutes of the April 6, 1998 meeting: Location was Carnegie Building, 305 S. Main Street and Peter Thomsen was not present. Motion (Dempsey/Guttenberg) to approve corrected minutes of April 6, 1998. MOTION CARRIED

3. Approval of Financials

Motion (Thomsen/Dempsey) to approve financial report. MOTION CARRIED

4. Update on (Redacted)

Update given. Olsen should ask (redacted) if they are currently involved in another project elsewhere.

5. Update on Ganser Property

Olsen will talk with Burt Miller and to common council members to find out their position.

6. Wisconsin Furniture

Discussed status of our negotiations to bring them to town.

7. Joint Meeting with Common Council

Date and location of the meeting will be forthcoming. Olsen will talk with the mayor to give our input for a replacement for Oppermann.

8. Update on South Industrial Park - John Wendorf

Wendorf may be interested in acquiring a four acre parcel of property at the south end of the park. It was felt he could switch his three acres with the new four acres and only pay for the one additional acre at the current price. We are awaiting his response to our March 18th letter.

9. Foremost Buildings

They have joined the Jefferson Chamber of Commerce.

10. Oppermann Thank You

Motion (Fisher/Guttenberg) to thank Dale Oppermann for his dedicated service to the Jefferson Development Corporation. MOTION CARRIED
